Traditionally, impact resistance and cut resistance have been the primary concerns for weight room and ice skate arena flooring. More recently, the prevention of staph infections, including MRSA, has become as much of a concern with weight room and ice arena flooring, if not more. Using a non-porous, anti-bacterial virgin rubber flooring product can help to prevent spread of staph and other bacteria and eliminate odors.
Mondo Sport Impact is the premium weight and skate resistant virgin rubber flooring product with an extra thick, nonporous wear layer to help withstand heavy abuse from weight room equipment, cleats/spikes and ice skate blades. The 10mm thickness is recommended for weight rooms and the 6mm thickness is available for ice skating facilities, locker rooms or other areas where impact resistance is not the primary concern.
Mondo Ramflex is another virgin rubber flooring product which is designed for impact and cut resistance while providing a non-porous surface. This product is available in 10mm and 8mm thickness. Mondo Ramflex and Mondo Sport Impact are available in 6’ wide rolls or 3’ x 3’ tiles. Both products offer a non-slip surface, both wet and dry, which does not require a wax or sealer.
Mondo High Jolt is a virgin rubber weight and skate flooring product which is cut into 2’ x 2’ interlocking tiles. This product is loose laid rather than glued down and can easily removed at a later date.
Regupol Aktiv is a recycled rubber weight room flooring product, designed to be extremely dense, resilient and wear resistant. Numerous color concentrations and combinations are available. Regupol Aktiv is manufactured in 4' wide rolls and Regupol Aktivlok is cut into 2' x 2' interlocking tiles which can be loose laid. Regupol's German parent company BSW invented the technology to recycle tires into rubber flooring over 40 years ago.
